PHR Employee meeting

The employees of Psychiatric Hospital Rab held their annual meeting in a festive atmosphere. Our system administrator Nenad Faflja reminded us of the events, the life and the work that marked the year 2009 by showing us a film he made using photographs and video clips. The Hospital Director, doc. Vesna Šendula-Jengić, MD, PhD, greeted the attending employees and briefly gave us an overview of the work of the Hospital in the past year. The Hospital Head Nurse, Štefica Deželjin, RN addressed the audience and took the opportunity to stress the importance of continuing education and training of nurses, inviting the nurses to further their education and use the opportunities the Hospital offers in that respect. Dr. Slaven Zudenigo, the representative of all the employees, was pleased to congratulate the employees on a successful past year, as was Prof. Bošković, Deputy Hospital Director, who also expressed his determination that, in view of the current global and national economic situation, one of the strategic goals in 2010 be attained, and that is to preserve all the jobs at the Hospital.

After the meeting the attendees could taste the delicacies prepared by our hospital chefs. The menu of the buffet was composed of foods which won our chefs silver medal at the national championship in Opatija.
